After last weekends Greg Brown fuel lines endeavour and new rear brakes, this evenings interior update is easy. Also proud to report I passed the safety inspection and will have plates by end of week.

Replaced & Torqued both front pinch bolts, remounted lower BH, clutch slave and starter. Not sure if I want to move back to the interior for a little while or get my headers on next...

I began putting my shiny new bumper together. Got me a nice new pop riveter.

Got the headers mounted, with a few of the washers/bolts remaining.

I'm not finding this to be a particularly enjoyable job. Would be easier if I weighed 80 pounds with an additional joint on my arm and the ability to contort myself into weird shapes.

Installed condenser, new drier, misplaced my new sensors in the garage, filled compressor and installed caps. Found out the AC shop made my hoses the wrong length and I have to return them next week in hopes they can make them correct. Hope they measured, cause I sure did not.

Default Problem solving

fixed floppy passenger mirror and weather proofed wire harness

Found and fixed annoying door/dash rattle caused by loose armrest bolts.

Fixed occasionally returning "always heat" issue caused by leaky vacuum 4way connection at brake booster by using small hose clamps.

Fixed foglight/high beam bug by swapping special relay with standard relay.

Then went for a drive in the rain.

My 9 year old son and I clay barred, polished, then sealed the paint on the Spyder - took a few hours, but it's silky smooth and well protected again for the next year.

Also removed and painted the door latch catches that had surface rust since I bought the car back in 2015 and were kind of ugly. Also adjusted the driver's side catch upon re-installing so the rear of the door now closes flush - looks much better.

Sweet car, don't see the soft tops very often.

Thanks a lot. It's got lots of upgrades too - big black brakes with 322mm rotors, supercharger, full leather interior with 997 seats, 1,000 watt 8 speaker stereo + sharkwoofer, z06 6-speed trans, etc....

Returned from a trip to Baja to find a dead battery. New big AGM type. Took it to Sears and they recharged it and checked and sent me on my way. So now I'm thinking, where is the drain? Remembered I had last removed glove box, and the switch was wonky. Walked over and checked it, yep! Fixed the wonky switch in 10 minutes. Took the little light 9 days to kill the battery down to 5v. Love the AGMS. Run them down all the way and just charge them up in a hurry.

Welcome and good job. Those PS leaks are the cause of some of the 928 engine fires you see from time to time, so good you resolved it.
