Default 87 5SPD- looking for Digital clock replacement

The screen on my LCD clock is damaged. Would like a replacement. Any neat replacements for them out there? Anyone got an original they want to sell?

Thanks

Charles

Ok I see your thinking outside the box. Point taken clock is useless to you.

What about a combination of ideas. The two extra 12 v cigarettes adapters with this inset in one or both.
Below mini usb charging port and led flashlight

It is a great place to mount the display for a remote radar detector.

How about a non-round wideband like the Zeitronix Zt-2

I like it. Where do you get it and does it work with 928?

They have them on eBay as kits. It will work on a 928. They are not cheap, but Zeitronix makes good stuff. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Zeitr...#ht_3303wt_943

I don't actually have one, but have been considering this along with other WB AF gauges. Also, I have an early car with a round gauge.

This may be just what someone was asking about on my thread about the FLUSH console conversion. Does anyone have one of these? I need to know just what the size of it is in back to consider using it in the lower trim piece/clock panel as moved to the ashtray location, especially for the auto version of the project where this space is too limited for the original clock or aftermarket round gauges, even with the reduced face I am developing.

Jerry, the dimensions of the aluminum enclosure are 4.7" x 2" x 0.9"

Thanks for the info. Sadly, I suspect that the .9 is the depth and not the height. 2 inches tall will not fit the space I have in the auto version, but this could be used in the manual version.

Just finished the 928 Clock LCD to replace the failed ones. I would like some feedback in the car as I have only be able to test the function in the housing.

Willing to give one away if someone is willing to put the work in to change theirs out.

I will do so as a rebate, as I have given stuff away before and had guys drag their feet in getting to the install. 1st one to post some pictures of the install will get theirs for free!
