A great Quote from the last time a large group of 928s roamed the Streets of Beech Mountain (2001 SITM Sunday visit to the Hill climb Event).
“When we were finally allowed down, we were met with cheers and waves all the way! These people were surrounded by all manner of interesting racecars, and they were waving and cheering for US. Maybe I'm a little slow, but it wasn't until that moment that I realized that this "scene", if you will, is something special... even by enthusiast standards. You just don't see that many 928s, not in ten years, never mind dozens of them parading through a tiny town in the Appalachians. The 928 is an important marker in the history of sports cars, and enthusiasts respond to it. We're preserving our culture here, a small piece of the answer to why there are car guys.”
.
Fun videos of the old Beech Mountain SCCA Hill Climb course, part of our "928 Parade" route this year... Note the start line area in the second video, that is where everyone will make a u-turn (Police will be blocking all other traffic) and get to pass each other on the way back up..EVERYONE will get to see each and every 928 in the "Parade" as you pass each other going up and down the hill!! Bring your video cameras!!

Menu for the SITM Saturday Night Banquet at the Best Western Mountain Lodge
All you can eat buffet will include:
Kids 5-10 - $11.50
Under 5 - Free
The Main bar and Tiki bar will be fully stocked and staffed for other "adult" refreshments. :-)

Dave,
Does this mean front swaybars are/will be available again? Adco tour sounds awesome to me - great job on that one, even better if they can bend your bars again.
Looking forward to it,
Hans

That's why the ADDCO Tour is "tenative" if they don't have my bars done by then, the building may not be there... I KID, I KID ( a little).
IF they are ready, we may even do some installs there too.(fingers crossed).
