tinkering results with my engineer.....
So,
After tinkering this week, it looks like next week for foundry meeting....
The elves are tired, and need to rest or have beer.....
Dual injector, and single injector versions of the lower assembly.

little things can drive a person to drink..!!
Making progress with engineering. sometimes little tweaks take a long time..
Anyway, I'm to have a call with the foundry this week.
Can you spot differences?

Looking good.
Thought if using an o-ring instead of that cut gasket. Will be cheaper and look cleaner when assembled.
Looking forward to seeing this get made. I hope you get reasonable casting figures.... when I looked at having my parts cast, it was too cost prohibitive for me.
Good luck with the call!

The gasket is supposed to have an o-ring, but the engineer got wires crossed and is fixing it.
I will see what it costs to cast the part... Up to now, no firm figures.. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Machining was going to be pretty pricey as well, and the composite prices are not that friendly either..
But, it is going to be done..!!!
Time to get the car on the road again...!! After driving Laguna last week in a Shelby GT350R with 525hp, I'm missing some fun.. It was a great motivator!

Hi Brendan,
Partially.. But you get full credit for the response.
Yes, the air box has been modified. The new trumpets are different, and there is more space/volume in the manifold. That gives the illusion of a bigger box, but it's just been modified on the inside so there is less material and more space in the manifold.
Other tweaks include uniform thickness all around for casting, and bungs for helicoils for the bolts.
The most important is the trumpet redo and the use of available space.

How about installing spacers in the runners so that it can be easily converted to individual throttle bodies for those that want to use this in an NA setup? Since this is going to cost you a small fortune and have an engineer doing to grunt work, might as well make it more marketable.

However, Hans may have a setup that is more easily adaptable to ITB's.
If someone is interested in the ITB configuration, they can send me a PM or post on this thread.
Thanks
