I am selling my '77 Porsche 928 Strosek series. It IS NOT a regular 928 and you will not find this car under any regular 928 listing. Its a rare Porsche, bought in Sicily, made in Germany, #96 out of 650 (in the world) off the line in the first year it was made. Has roughly 55,000 miles on it, everything is in kilometers and european specs. Car runs great. Rebuilt suspension ($4000); hyper coil springs; koni adjustable struts all the way around; has new wheels and tires; custom aftermarket stereo. I'm selling for $12,000. The car is worth a lot more but its hard to find people who are Porsche enthusiasts. I will only answer to serious inquirers due to the fact this car means a lot to me. Any other questions you have about the car I'd be more than happy to answer. My name is Brad and I can be reached on my cell at (360)536-1620.

Why do all these wide body cars end up at the ratty-est trashy-est looking places EVER?! OMG! '77 NOT! Build date '77, maybe even registered year '77, model year (according to Porsche) would be '78... Unless there was something different about how they registered cars in Europe at that time... FOR SURE that kit was not put on anytime near when that car was new either! $12k but worth a lot more! Nearly fell out of my wheelchair laughing!

Kinda looks like it was 'upgraded' with an aftermarket sunroof?

I saw this car a few years back in a local navy auto/body shop...when I did some work on one of the local Navy Bases...apparently the owner is stationed on the USS Stenis....When I saw it, it didn't look bad, but the interior was your typical, red plush fur coverings etc...very home made. If I remember correctly it was a 5sp... Strosek body work looked good and overall the car was in pretty good condition. I'll see if I can dig up the old pics I took.. There might even be a thread from around 2005/6 on this car when I found it.

All things considered it's not that bad. It's not $12,000 good either!!

I'm not so sure that value is way out of whack. If someone loves the Strosek and decided to hunt down a running OB and then find a kit and have it attached, what kind of money would he be looking at?
The car is obviously not for everyone, but for someone who want's one.............

I bet the offsets on the front wheels are way too small and they stick out a lot, thus the reason why all the pics are showing the front wheels slightly turned and never straight (when they would show how wrong the offset is).
