Default Norcal Lemons 928 is a GO!!!

Well its offical....I AM INSANE...

A deal came along on a 1980 euro S 5 speed that was too good to pass up....sure it has a bit of body damage from a deer incident...but its otherwise fine..... It has been sitting for about 4 years....so after draining out the very varnish smelling fuel & over 4 gallons (yes that is correct) of oil & then coolant we tried to get it running....no dice....dead fuel pump....but I did learn something interesting....an old Volvo's CIS fuel pump works on a 928 (at least to idle it)....IT RUNS......a proper pump is in the works.....

So my friends race shop "Evil Genius Racing", myself and Kibort plan on racing a JAWS themed 928 at the November Lemons event at Thunderhill....

It will be interesting...hopefully fun.....

Updates to follow!!!

I'm looking for CHEAP wheels too...either 4 16x9" late S4 rear wheels or 9" wide 17" wheels (any design is fine)....anything will work just as long as its CHEAP....as long as they are straight I don't care about scratches-marks etc...

Cool good luck. I wouldn't be so worried about getting straight wheels. Just get any wheels you can. You'll probably need 4 vehicle sets of tires/rims. Plan on every panel of the car getting dented. Build some sort of hidden crash structure in the front end to protect the radiator. Also, driving quickly is not nearly as important as just continuously driving. A good fueling rig and minimal driver changes is how you win.
