Porsche 17” factory OEM CUP II wheels fitment
I found these on ebay. Ad says they will fit 928. Front rim is narrower than my 7.5/65. on my 91 GT.
Will they fit or should I look for 18" wheels.
Front: 7JX17, offset: 55. Tire size: 205/50ZR17. Part Number: 993 362 124 00
Rear: 9JX17, offset: 55. Tire size: 255/40ZR17. Part Number: 993 362 128 00
Here is Ad.

Walter,
They will fit fine and look great. They will bolt straight on without any modifications required. I ran them on my GT before I got the 19" Carrera Classics. Lots of 928's are running these exact wheels. Fronts are a bit narrower than ideal. Most bought like these on ebay have 205's on the front. 225's will fit, but probably nothing wider on a 7" rim. 9" rears are pretty much an exact swap from stock. This style also comes in a rare 8" (70et offset) and rarer 9" (70et? offset) but are really hard to find. They do pop up on occassion for sale. I found a pair of 8" and along with the 9" rears, they are now my dedicated track tires and wheels.
Here's a picture of my GT with the wheels you are considering. One of the best looking imporovements I made to my car IMHO, until I got the 19's of course...

Nice Picture. Thanks. We will see how low they go. I was also looking at the Carrera 18s. I need to do something as 16 tires are getting pretty rare.
