SHARKS IN THE PARK IX - Berkeley, CA - May 9, 2009
It's almost that time again. SHARKS IN THE PARK IX will be held Saturday, May 9 in our traditional location - Island picnic area of Tilden Park in the hills above Berkeley, CA. For more information, click here: http://www.norcal928.org/park/sitp9.htm
Any 928 owners reading this and their families are invited to attend. And the price is right - FREE!!
PLEASE RSVP ASAP so I can get a food count.
billb_msn@msn.com
Meet a bunch of other 928'ers, see all kinds of 928s, share tips and tricks, munch on the barbecue, win door prizes, and take a quick funride around the hinterlands of Contra Costa County. All-in-all, a fine way to spend a Saturday.
The weather always cooperates. Hey, it's California! Well, almost always...
There's plenty of display parking right in front of the picnic area and the local gendarmes are usually cooperative.
Regardless, we ALWAYS have fun. PLEASE join us on May 9.

Count me in!!
THE UNOFFICIAL "BILL BALL CHINO FUND"
I am always impressed with how much Bill gives to our 928 community. From tech sessions to just showing up at someones house to do a timing belt or help build a race motor. Again here we are with Bill not only organizing Sharks in the park but also PAYING for everything. Now Bill would never ask for this but I propose as pay back we slip a "little something" into those famous chino's Bill is known for. $5.00 $10.00 whatever makes you feel good.
And remember a pair of chino's is a terrible thing to waste.

I was thinking about mounting the tablet PC and sharktuner, recentering the
steering wheel, covering the fuel cell, reconnecting the battery cut-off switch,
and cleaning up any other remaining issues. Of course we have to get the
fuel system finished first.
