Default FS: 928 trunk mounted subwoofer setup, complete $300

I pulled this from the car and wanted to see if someone local wanted it for their 928.

Really nice cargo area subwoofer setup. Includes the box which fits nicely in teh spare tire well, with a 10" JL Audio Subwoofer. Also includes custom "928 S4" cover to hide amp and sub.

Looking for local buyer, i cant imagine shipping this thing

$300

I'm semi interested but $300 seems a little steep for a box and a cover both of which seem from the pictures to be pretty beat up. Plus it would be a hike to get up to LA.

I'm not trying to low-ball you because just the inconvenience of getting the thing is enough to keep my interest tepid even if it was really inexpensive, just trying to answer the question you posed re: "Does no one want this."

Be aware that the spare tire well dimensions are different between models.

That sub may not drop into other models, so you should specify what model it came out of.

1990 S4

I imagine it will fit all cars that carry a Red spare.

STILL AVAILABLE

Hmmmm, top of cover says S4. I wonder what model it's from?

Although this set up would be cool as all the work is done. I would say the wood work is worth $50 and the electronics maybe $150ish.

absolutely, the MDF costs $50

Its probably more than a few hours of work for the DIY'er so whats your time worth?

I bought MDF, I bought a table saw when i lived in Texas and had a sub and all the electronics all ready to go and i still couldnt be bothered with trying to get it done. So unless youve got a wood shop all set up and you work in it constantly, its a project that is often times difficult to get done..... SO JUST BUY THIS ONE

if someone supplies me with a bit of carpeting i will retrim it if thats an issue

I dont like it personally, i wouldnt put it in the next 928 i own, i also think carpeting would probably be a good idea but i just need it gone

if your local and want a sub (a very good one at that) then let me know

actually if someone wants the setup minus the sub i can seperate too, i will probably put a 10" sub in the car at some point and this one could serve me well
