sorry Erkka... that all is knowledge from my engine builder...don't even know if he wants to communicate it here on Rennlist... no'r discuss it. He don't want to loose time here discussing sometimes with people "as experts" but in reality never seen a engine open... i agreed with him on that point , a professional can choose his own way .... we, and more specific, me, must believe now in him... see what he can build, what lasts... no discussion on forehand here.

I can't blame him... if you say here it must be blue, ten others will claim it should be red.... and you're gone for a hundred posts...

I just want actual numbers, nothing more. If he is too busy to give those there is probably some other reason for it like not wanting to reveal trade secrets, not just wanting to stay away from arguments on what correct tolerances for sleeves are. Can't recall one of those arguments yet even though many of us have opened quite few 928 engines and even managed to put few back together.

I just spoke with Norbert via email recently. He doesn't come on here anymore.
Cars are on hold while he finishes up his sailboat.

I've spoken with him a few times and the car got put to the back burner and hasn't been touched in awhile.
