Your 928 Restoration Efforts....Post Your Before/After Pics

Marine - I'm totally stripping what's currently in it and going with black and Can Can (my daughter's favorite combo). The PO(s) trashed the factory blue leather (which was probably in very poor shape) and basically peeled what they could get their fingernails into to rip it out. I bought the car as ugly as it is, but feel I paid accordingly. The color should be pewter, but the cheap repaint is more bronze. I'll go back to factory pewter which the red should highlight nicely.
I bought the seats and door panels from BlackShark (thanks Richard) who brought them to SITM for me. I've also found a few of the pieces I need on eBay and will recover the rest (most likely the rear qtr panels) myself.
It's all pretty simple - there's just a LOT of screws and clips, so it's tedious.
If anyone has a good to excellent sunroof headliner panel I need one.

Burning Brakes
been a long road, but its getting thier......new TT will be going in very shortly.
just removed the horid dash and swaped in a black one with matching center dash and door centers, so its now two toned black and brown.
did a quad driving light swap, no pics yet of that.
but i do like how the "S" brake ducks work with out the rest of the front "S" spoiler.

Before and after of the Driver's seat. New black leather baby! (It has since smoothed out so it doesn't look so bunched up here and there)

Tommy nice job with the body, it looks great!
Mike, that looks like fresh Linen Silverknit. Amazing difference with the carpeting and leather!
How well did it match as compared to the portions under your seat which hadn't seen any sun or dirt? I've been thinking of changing out only the door sill pieces on mine but I'm worried about it matching.

I actually changed colors, so I'm not sure I could help you there. If you look at the first 'after' pic, you can see the old color (beige) still on the passenger door. I went with a grey when I replaced it, the color isn't really showing well in the pic.

Thanks!
The seat cushions were squashed, but they came back to shape after having the covers off. I did have a bad split as you can see on the bolster, but none of the padding was actually missing, it was just cut so I used some duct tape to close the split and then laid the batting back over it. Sounds low rent, but it closed it up perfectly and with the batting over it, the shape was perfect. The leather really shows every wrinkle from under it, so you have to make sure you reach in and smooth everything and get the seams lined up perfectly.
I've got a word document with lots of pics of the entire process but it's over 100mb, so it's too big to e-mail. If you like I can send you a CD with it on there.
