I thought Louies was quite a bit quieter than Tims Beast.......when the beast was 1st debuted at SATL 06 Tim was leading the fun drive about 8 sharks ahead of me.....we were stuck in traffic behind someone REALLy slow....I hear this massive BWWAAAAHHH then see the beast pass the slow poke....it was louder 8 cars back than mine is IN THE CAR..... it literally shakes the ground.....(in a good way)

Well, I started this thread with the intention that people post sound clips of their car on here from home recordings, previous videos of their autos on youtube, or some other method.

If you suggest a SITM sound contest, that's awesome. But this thread is for online clips.

Like I said, maybe I can arrange a free membership with Randy V or John D to give out to a member on here with a great clip.

To continue into a little more detail about the thread:

- Post your clips on here

- Rennlisters listening can PM me on what clips sound the best

- I will take a take a tally of the clips voted and post the top 10 in a nomination thread that spans off from this one.

- Winner of that thread gets the prize (if there is any approval from the mods for one)

Sterling's car will re-part you hair if you are standing behind the car. Awesome exhaust melody.

I still haven't heard Sterling's car.

I'm going to make a clip of mine tonight with my own X-pipe and Flowmaster S-40s.

sounds like you could work on smoothing out the idle.....seems to hunt around a lot----vacuum leak, perhaps?.

I'd post mine, but most of you heard it at 3rd Coast........

Brian (or anybody else)- Do you know what setup Dennis K is running? I love that howl, and I suspect it's something I could replicate with my GT.

And Sterling, that motor sounds downright MEAN. I can only imagine what it sounds like in person. Well done, sir!

You would do yourself a huge service if you didn't compare your experince with SBC's and Perterbuilts to our cars until you learn enough about them to do so.

No animosity, just calling it like I see it. and just to put it out there, I don't like the sidepipes, I'm just been trying to be polite and not say anything but since you go out of your way to step on toes and **** everyone off, I thought I'd share it with you...
