In going through Summitracing's application guide, I see SOME distinctions between A & B, driver versus passenger side, with some vehicles. Kinda confusing.

The "A" & "B" designations have to do with the pivot direction of the the wipers relative to the "air-foil" aspect intended to keep the blade in contact with the windshield. In the case of a 928, both wipers pivot in the same direction, so I believe the correct blade in the "A". At least that is what I am using. "B" is for the passenger side for automobiles that have wipers that operate opposed to each other.

There is a difference. I bought a set of them for my Ford Explorer which called for the "A" type that they were sold out of so I bought the "B" style. As I said, there seems to be a difference and I think the difference is where the mounting point on the blade is located.
The set on the 928 follow the contour of the windshield better then most other blades so I'm happy with them.

Bosch tell me that the right and left is the basic theory, however after trying both types on a specific vehicle you could end up with 2 B's or an A & B on the wrong sides.
I have ordered a couple of each in the 20" and will run a test and try and determine which works best.

Rog, I've been running the 20' on my '88 for almost a year now...Damn good wiper. I did notice the "shimmy" on them, but I had the the 6 pressure point ones on previously.
I was going to ask you if you had some 20" in stock so I could put them on the '90. I took shocki's advice when I met him and that is why I put them on the '88. The Icons are a great wiper. I paid $20 apiece from Autozone.

If you guys get a chance, could you post a close pic of the A and the B blade on the windshield?
I've got one an airfoil blade (forgot what brand) and it think the airfoil is upside down as it chatters nicely on the sprung return cycle.
My upside down blade has the airfoil starting flat and then going down. I think it should be flat and then going up to the roof like the GTS blade airfoils.
Yeah, I know. If you drive fast enough the rain just beads up and over the windshield.

I did notice on the passenger side that the wiper does not sit flush on the windshield. The far end that has no bearing on anyones line of sight. Yes, Rog, I do need 2 for Ang's car.
If you want me to fit both the A's and B's to both cars, then I will and let you know how that goes.

Been running them since they first came out. Very pleased with them. No shimmy. Outer 1" of passenger side blade does not contact the windshield. Paid around $25/blade at local NAPA. Would buy again, but YMMV.
