1990 928 S4 Outside Air Temperature Sensor
My outside air temperature sensor located under the left hand side front mudguard is registering on the computer dash as 4 degrees C low.
I'm about to embark on a complete check of the Air Conditioning System functionallity, vacuum control, flap adjuctment etc., and would like to know whether anyone can advise if the temperature readout can be adjusted via the computer or a pot or is it just a case of renewing the temperature probe/sensor?
If the temperature can be adjusted can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Tails 90 S4

Tails,
The temp sensor for the dash is on the bottom of the driver mirror. Its that little teet sticking out the bottom.
The sensor in the wheelwell is for the A/C system and you need to measure it with an ohm meter. Look under "Climate Control" under http://www.nichols.nu/tips.htm
