Post 90 GT- few small problems

I would like to solicit opinions on a couple of small problems.
I have had this car for a couple of years and it has 65000 miles.
1. I just realized that the intensive washer does not work. I refilled the tank and it still does not spray. The regular washer works. Is there a simple fix or should I fuggedaboudit?
2. When the rear wiper is turned on, it moves to the center but does not move back. With the hatch up, I can see the plate on the lower deck move back and forth so apparently the motor is working. I think the pin from the upper hatch (that is linked to the wiper blades) is coming out of the hole in the plate when it reverses direction. Simple fix or fuggedaboudit?
3. I get the feeling that my air conditioner switches into the turbo mode every time I go into the passing mode. I will be cruising in 5th gear and then when I start to pass someone and accelerate up past 3000-3500RPM I suddenly feel a gust of cool air coming from the center vents. This is in Florida so the air is always on cool. Is the interior fan hooked to the tach in some way?
Comments, please.

1) The pump at the side of reservoir is probably defective.

2) The rear hatch may need to be adjusted so that it closes tighter to the plate.

3) I've never heard of the cabin fan suddenly going to full blast during acceleration. Since the AC is apparently giving you a blast of cold air, I would count it as a blessing. YMMV.

Nope - not connected to the tach at all.

Does this occur typically as you raise speed? Have you checked the hood seal is in good condition (at the back)? I don't know if this is the cause - but it could be if I remember correctly.

The feeling of air rushing in on you at acceleration may be related to the flaps in the system. When you step on it you lose vacuum initially which may allow one or more of the flaps to open up to fresh air from the outside... You may want to look for a vacuum leak from the little distribution box under the center console..

Good Luck..

1) The problem with the intensive washer is probably the check valves in the washer fluid lines. These are inside the hood. Pull the round black plug from the driver's side, tie a stout string to the hoses, remove the black plug on the passenger's side, and pull the hoses out form the passenger's side. Leave the string in the hood to pull the hoses back thru. Try blowing thru the check valves - should be able to blow one way, not the other. They're cheap to replace.
2) Try lubricating the rear wiper spindle that is behind the tool panel - it should move up and down freely against a spring.
3) You have one or more vacuum leaks in your HVAC system - usually vacuum actuator diaphagrms. Test the little blue/white check valve on the small line off of the vacuum brake booster - should have very free flow in one direction, no flow in the other.
