Default Hose diagrams

I was wondering if there was a resource that lists what needs to be connected where on the car as far as hoses go (vacuum, fuel, EGR, coolant, oil). The shop manuals I have are okay for learning procedures, but they do me no good when it comes to replacing all the hoses. There are diagrams for some vacuum systems and the CIS system, but that's about it. I've got brittle hoses running in and out of fenders, through the firewall, etc, and I've got no idea where they go, what they do or what to connect them to and trying to find this in the manual has been really frustrating.

^ X2 I have tracked down a few diagrams that I have found helpful. Fuel and some Vac which is just what I finished doing. But I would love more detailed diagrams of what all the hoses are and where they are going and from whence they came.

These diagrams obviously came from rennlist threads and point out some of the inaccuracies of the original diagrams. At least on the vac diagram it differs on my 87 (which has the air diverter as drawn in).

I know there are more diagrams, you just have to look at individual systems and know what you are looking for. Most of the time, I do not

Good luck

Hmm... thanks. I've got a K-Jet though. Maybe I'm looking more for an assembly manual than a workshop manual. I wonder if one exists.

What year is your car? I'm not sure which year(s) used K-Jet.

I've got a '79 US 5spd.

I'm surprised how crappy the workshop manuals are. Even the Haynes manual are way better, but Haynes didn't make one for the 928. For having so many damn hoses, there's no reference to show where they go.

Thanks, that helps a bit, but I plan on deleting the EGR system. Do you have any idea what the hoses are running in and out of the fenders? I think the smaller ones are for the windshield washer, but there are some larger braided ones that are rotting and I don't know what they do.

Snake, how about some pics of specific hoses, much easier for folks to id when they can see what you're seeing
