I just had mine out this week. On my 82MY there was a third screw on the C pillar just forward of the hatch. I would however recommend pulling or at least loosening the quarter panel so as not to cause damage.

My panel was a little soggy when I removed mine from a leaky/rusty quarter window. So I just pulled the corner to expose the grounds :P
I didn't need to remove the rear seat to pull the panel out - contrary to the original post.
Side note - the ground to the fuel pump is hooked up in the back with those other grounds, so make sure it is securely tightened up after cleaning! For a while I thought that I f'ed up my fuel pump after pulling it and the fuel tank earlier this year.

i discarded the original foam filler under the qtr panel, & removed most of the foam stuck to the qtr panel around the "b' pillar.

if too tight leave out the foam [ccf]. the MLV should be seperated from the body by ccf to work best, but it still is ok and if i had to chose between ccf & mlv, then mlv will win as it bocks more sound than ccf ever will.
ccf blocks a small range of sound.

Remember dynamats of the world are mass loaders, they lower the resonace freq of the panel so we don't hear it as much. The alu top cover does block some sound.
Mass loaders improve your car audio as it stops the panel being a speaker, it increases mid base especially in the doors. You dont need 100% coverage, though it is better [diminishing returns] with dynamats.
The spectrum is a painted finish that converts sound to heat. The two together apparently work better, i do notice the panel is a lot deader after the Spectrum has been built up [3mm], its also a lot lighter & cheaper than adding two or three layers of Dynamat. The downside is waiting for it to dry, 1hr, and then a day or two before refitting panels.
It also gets very dirty, so in the hatch & spare wheel i have painted that with PPC POR15 to make cleaning easier. [the darkish grey].

MLV [mass loaded vinyl] is a sound blocker, this is what makes the car quieter.
it weighs about 4kg/sqmeter.

i see the third screw you describe, this is some kind of bolt or attachment that is holding it from the back area very close to the 2 screws. With all the exposed screws removed I am pulling and pulling and it is ripping the panel on the inside getting looser. But it will destroy it if I continue that way, strange.

I had the exact same problem, all fastenings loose I could find, and you think you can ease the trim sufficient enough to reach the ground point,.. then there is this bracket type thing that the trim seems to locate to, and feels loose on, but wont budge no matter what.., up, down, sideways, forward, aft. It wont come off, if you pull it will kink the trim in half...,I gave up for fear of damage, but would still love to access that pesky ground as it,s the last one to do on my list ? so near yet so far ???

There's a metal bracket riveted on the underside of the interior panel about 10 inches forward from the rear-most corner of the quarter panel, that tucks under a metal tang just below the quarter window.

You need to pop all the plastic studs that run along the C panel by the hatch so they're loose, then pull the bottom of the panel loose starting at the end by the rear passenger seats by pulling it towards the tunnel.

Once the forward lower end is free, pull the whole panel forwards towards the front of the car about 2-3 inches to free it from the metal locating bracket (its designed to let the tang slip out the rear of the bracket).

Thread revival - this is a hard one to find, but does anyone know how the strip that runs along the edge of the rear quarter panel, by the door, attach? I need to perform a repair on that, and am hoping that it is not part of the whole rear quarter requiring removal. Here is a pic from above showing (part) of the edge strip that I am talking about:
