What exactly do you need to know. Some models have pre-amp outs some don't - for the ones that do some are rear channel only. Regardless they are always in the same place on the DIN/ISO plugs if they exist.
If there are none you can use speaker to line converters to get an amp line level input (probably not quite as quiet but OK). The speaker outputs are likewise standard on the DIN/ISO and almost everything has 4 channels now
Let me know what you need and I'll give you the pinouts:
There are 3-4 big ISO connectors first (low) is main supplies etc second (mid) is speakers - then third (top) is usually a same size but 3 way block with CD-Changer/Aux Line in, Remote Control & Preamp-out clustered together.
Don't experiment! - its too easy to blow things up. I can tell you whatever you need...

Thanks Alan:
I need the pin-outs for the 8 pin pre amp out located on the back of the Reno SQR46 in my 88 S4.
I want to drive my 80 watt factory amp with the preamp outputs of an Alpine head. I have been an amateur radio op since the 50's and have managed to overdrive lots of circuits. If necessary I will simply bypass the whole amp and drive the speaker leads with the Alpine speaker outputs. Was just trying to avoid running additional wiring. Thanks / Hank

Hank,
Attached is a DIN/ISO connector diagram for a different model but gives you most of what you need for the whole connectivity - you may not have all these features implemented (but if they are there this is where they will be).
You want connector C1 for pre-amp outs (6 pins only).
This model only has Rear pre-outs but if all 4 channles were there then pins 4 & 5 would be R-F & L-F respectively.
Pin 6 is the amp trigger.
C2 is for remote control & C3 is the CD-Changer/Aux-input
BTW - the easiest way to make these connections is to buy the 4-channel preamp output adapter from a Blaupunkt dealer (e.g. soutwest stereo etc) or look on ebay...
You will get a short (~6-10") harness from the C1 DIN/ISO plug to 4 female RCA's and an amp trigger pigtail lead.
