Looks great Darien!!! I've been thinking of picking one up on flea bay. they come up reasonably cheap from time to time. Have you tried to get any temp data before and after? Any issues with hose routing or anything?

For anyone running the "pizza injector bushings", I am having one helluva time seating the injectors into the bushings. These were machined to the supposedly latest and greatest final drawing, and are using the correct size O-rings. O-rings lubed with MolyKote 111 prior to injector install. They are just insanely tight going in past the O-ring. I can't press it enough by hand, using my thumbs. I got 2 installed, but just barely. Once seated they're fine. I'm actually in the process of making a fixture/adaptor to press them in (gently) with a hydraulic press. Just wondering if anyone else ever had that issue? If so, what did you do to make it easier to install?

Thanks Chris. No temp data gathered but I would bet the farm that it will run cooler with the new heat exchanger. The surface area is more than double. No issues with hose routing, just add a couple 90 deg fitting and plug and play.

This is for the 85/86 twin screwed:
Has anyone switched to an S4 throttle bracket? How hard would it be, can the longer cables be cut to fit or S4 cable swap?? I would love to free up the space up front being affected by the stock throttle bracket!

Update on my injector issue:
Made a tool, and it works great. Cradles the top of the injector main body and gives a safe point to either press and/or tap it into the injector bushing. Made it out of the heavier duty gray PVC.

Also, I bought a new/used Jag/Eaton supercharger off a 2009 XKR convertible with only 30K miles. It's in much better shape than the one that was installed. Here she is mounted to the upper intake, along with the intercooler. This is a final install with a liberal dose of The Right Stuff RTV. I have it up on blocks to prevent damage to the I/C fins. I would've installed the whole shebang into the lower plenum, but I changed plans on mount hardware/bushings, and they needed .050" machined off the length. I'm going to test fit it on the engine using both sets of bolts/bushings and see which I prefer. Then I can permanently install the spacer bushings and the lower plenum.

Will you be able to close the hood or are you going topless?
Those FI bushing are tight, I had to pull lie heck to get them off, yet to try installing them.
I'd suggest checking the Plastic to metal seals on the FI's with a pressure gauge before putting fuel pressure to them as your tool pressed on the plastic top, I have at least 4 in a bag that leak at that seam
Love the shiny Intake Chris, did you polish it

Dave thanks for the tip. I didn't even think of any issues with that seam. How did you rig up a test gauge? Any pics?
Yes, I polished the upper intake. It had originally been "somewhat" polished, but I did the full monty with both rouge and white compound on a 1/2" cordless drill. I couldn't get the counter space to use the regular bench grinder/buffer. It still came out pretty good.

I have this on mine and am very happy with it. Fits well and was fairly simple to adapt to my 85 track car. I am also using it on my DD as well with the new
TS system.
