WHAT cool 914 parts, Karl?? Whatchagot to sell ??

I have an attachment to my jack that acts like a cradle for removing the 6 cylinder engine with trans and clamps around both and thus reduces the balancing act necessary when installing and removing the engine. Otherwise, it is sweat it city and move instantly city for me. Only once did I ever drop it. I also use 4 jack stands to aid balance as I raise and lower the car around the jacked up engine/trans. Sure could use a lift. Maybe Santa will bring one next year.

I must've had brain freeze thinking anybody'd remove a 6 cylinder engine without something better than a jack. My trans jack has side plates that clamp to the oil pan.

I had to laugh about Karl's girlfriend removing the engine in his car. My wife's a great woman, but if she thought I expected her to work on the cars, I'd need a whole lotta stiches in my head.
