Default OK, My next problem is....

Seems there's a coolant leak coming out of what I believe to be a head bolt/nut.
It's under the inlet manifold between No.1 and No.2 cylinder.

I've looked in PET and it just lists a nut and washer there. Is there some sort of 'O' ring or gasket or is the washer listed made of copper? Or is there a more serious problem why there would be coolant coming out of there?

Can you just remove the nut and put a new washer under it or will that mess with the alignment of the planets and upset the ecosystem of the earth?

It's a 1986 944 bog standard.

Pic for your viewing pleasure....

Zoom out a little...water trails can be deceiving.

With little additional information, would [first] suspect the gasket between the head/water neck next to #1.

Thanks for the advice Mel

There is only the inlet manifold above this and we had a real good look in daylight and it seems to be migrating up from the stud. I don't think I'll be changing a head gasket because of it..

Cheers
