Default Brembo seals for 944 S2 calipers. Where?

Hi All.

Where to get brembo seals for 944 S2 calipers (and not with the piston which most seem to have).

I just need dustboots and inner seals. Well just dustboots really but probably the inner seals might need a refresh.
How about racingbrake stuff?
or stoptech?

Car is a racecar only.

I used to carry these as a favor to the community really, back when Brembo wouldn't sell or distribute them otherwise. Since then, first Truechoice (regrettably gone) and now Hoerr Racing Products has carried the seals and late-style dust boots. The early-style scraper seals (versus dust boots) have only ever been available from Porsche, to the best of my knowledge. HRP are good folks.

I do have four 44 mm. seals sitting on the shelf, will let them go cheap if anyone's interested.

Are the centric seals as good as the brembo for racing conditions? What about the stoptech silicon stuff..

Maybe - don't need any pistons though.

I do not have any direct experience to relate with respect to racing application for the CARiD products.

I can tell you that the source (CARiD)sells not only replacement Brembo Calipers but also the rebuild components for these calipers (scrapers and dust seals). The scrapers and dust covers are provided by Centric.

I ordered sets of these scrapers and dust seals to rebuild my calipers last winter. I experienced no issues whatsoever with the build. The scrapers looked and felt identical to the OEM parts. The dust caps were a slightly lighter color - but other than the color delta, no other obvious issues.

At the end of the day, the scrapers are really just elastomer O-rings that have been selected to perform under the required heat conditions and not be broken down by the brake fluid thru either chemical attack or permeation.
