Scoggin Dickey, cnc built/short stroke/388c.i./forged LS7 engine w/ ported LS3 heads, LS3 intake, LS9 cam, LS9 injectors, massive throttle body, 1-7/8" long tube headers into a gigantic *(thank you Tony G) y-pipe into open 3-1/2" exhaust making easily, 530-540hp at the crankshaft.... are we really making this much power? absolutely. try flooring it at 70mph and see what happens.
my hybrid 968/997 air dam/splitter rounds out the front of my car (as in, it's round) like a 997GT2, not square. it adds nearly 2" to the length of the car (at the bumper level)! ....when i put on the new nose, my gas mileage began topping 28~29 mpg (an increase of about 1.5mpg).... i made it from Jacksonville, FL to Falmouth, Va (a few miles south of Alexandria) on a single tank of gas.... now with the v8, taking advantage of the option of 93 Ultra + acetone mix for 96 octane gas, the car should reach close to 195mph.
what can this engine really do? the numbers don't lie....
http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/vem...roke-of-genius.
the LS9 cam is a spectacular cam for an LS3 or LS7 built for the street.
will the car actually reach 200mph? does it really matter? no. i doubt that it will.
1. i'd have to put on brand new Pilot Sports or P-zero's.
2. i'm too broke after buildind and sorting the car.
3. 190~195mph is still pretty good, right?
4. maybe a little splash of nitrous would get us over the top into the forbidden zone??
5. i don't care.... i don't wanna know... i don't wanna know... i don't wanna know.
you believe that last part, right??
*Tony G; "if you run a single exhaust, the y-pipe has to be huge....."

Can you post 195mph gps run?

Three Wheelin'
At that speed its very difficult to video record anything with a phone even for the passenger and that speed can only be done safely and legally in Germany. + I don't need/want to prove anything, I've posted the picture of what I calculated and measured to be a fast 924(for a 924).
The factory 2L GTS CS does this speed so its not an unreal result that a 924 with similar and/or identical parts can perform the same.
turbo = torque...post a faster 924 or go home

Oh,
So it's a calculated claim then... ?
something you've never actually done or achieved ?
or can prove, or want to looking at the above.
You can't announce your car does a Speedo indicated 170mph because a computer programme calculation or whatever said it would!
I wouldn't dare enter the male bravado my car does one hundred and whatever without a pretty picture, video or similar, it's the oldest self confessed bit of Flannel in the Book!

i have a road in mind. i'll get the gps speedo installed,
run the gps app, put on the right tires, and go for broke.
won't be right away. i'll top 186mph and we'll see what happens from there. should be fun..

Can I play? I helped build Odurandina's SLEDGEHAMMER. All suspension and brakes were my responsibility. I was also the first guy to drive it on a California freeway. I was flying and quickly approaching 150 when it ran out of fuel pressure/volume to go faster. I mentioned later that 5th gear was super tall. Alen asked about how 6th felt. I said "what 6th?" I didn't know there was more. OMFG what a beast.

ha!!
well, that was with the engine ******* out on flatlined fuel pressure.
had we been running the high output Bosch '044' fuel pump, you'd have hit the limiter in 5th at slightly over 180mph....
the 1st dyno sheet indicates we'll see an improvement about 150~160hp after we'd swap in the 044 pump.
you'll do much better on the freeway.
