Default 951 Power friction clutch install - interference with release bearing???

Doesn't seem correct to me. The splined hub of the power friction clutch disc presses on the release bearing. if I set the clutch on the pressure plate there seems to be an 1/8 inch gap between the friction surface on the pressure plate and the clutch disc. This will create a preload on the pressure plate fingers and would seem to require more force to release the clutch. The original clutch disk does not touch the bearing but is sandwiched between the flywheel and pressure plate. I just want to make sure this is typical before installing everything.

thanks.

SOLVED - once I tightened the pressure plate the bearing pulled away from the splined hub on the clutch disc. Assembled on the engine there is adequate clearance.

Just seemed odd on the bench
