hey guys - trying to find a source on some of those tubular heat shields that go around the rubber fuel lines - in my car a 924S these rubber fuel lines travel up past the brake booster and then over the intake manifold. i took off the old petrified older ones when i removed the rubber lines.

my local car parts place only sells this corny silver rice rocket looking shield. is that the best option?

Shouldn't need a heat shield on an early 944/924S because the fuel lines pass nothing "hot"...

But if you really want something you can get silicone-coated fiberglass stuff from aircraftspruce.com

Arnnworx sells heat shield, specifically intended for 944 fuel lines. I believe Bruce gets it from McMaster carr.
