Default WTB 924 tappets screws

Hi guys,

I am converting my 928 to solid cams and I had custom solid tappets made that use the 924 screw adjuster. The main issue is that the screws from Porsche are pretty dam expensive and I need 16 of them. I did buy one new one which was the B size or size 2. Just to look at the spring heights and valve lengths that are possible as my cams have 0.550"/0.505" gross lifts. So if somebody has some or has a lead on some that would be great.

Thanks

Greg

Start checking the U Pull It junkyards around you. There should be plenty of those cars around.

I'm in Australia so unfortunately those options don't exist hence my post. I just thought there may be engines that people have pulled apart and aren't going back together. it certainly happens in the 928 world

Well I have searched around and no luck, it looks like new, some people think these are nla but at the moment they are still available. I suspect while current stock last so I will pony up for them soon if nobody comes forward

Cheers
