SSR Wheel Question
'd like to disassemble and refinish my SSR Wheels then reassemble them.
The center pieces are held to the barrel with triple-square bolt and nuts.
Questions - 1) is it difficult to separate the hub from the barrel? 2. What is the torque spec for reassembly?

Jay,
I self taught myself to disassemble/assembly 3 piece wheels. Here is a link to an article I did: http://newhillgarage.com/2015/07/22/...-wheel-mayhem/
I found some decent youtube videos on the subject that helped fill in some of the blanks.
Regarding torque specs, you should start by consulting with the wheel vendor. There are some generic rule-of-thumb numbers out there that you could use in a pinch but even then you need some basic information like the bolt diameter and material type. But torque is important in this application, as the loads on the bolts are dynamic as the wheel rotates while under side loading so it is something you want to get right.
