Default 951 cooling hose cluster...

Guys,

I am going through my 944 Turbo and replacing every coolant hose. I am running into an issue with original part #95110624702 (36 on the diagram) which is the three way hose that connects to the expansion tank, the large metal pipe that runs along the front end of the car and to the small water pump. I am being told by the dealership and online diagrams that the single three way hose has been updated to a two hose system comprised of part #'s 95110624704 (36A on the diagram) and 95110624301 (36B on the diagram)

What doesn't make sense is that we're going from a three way pipe (with three total "outputs" to two separate pipes with four "outputs". The 36B part makes sense that it will tie the expansion tank to the large metal pipe. The 36A part doesn't make much sense as it will plug into the water pump --- but what else???

Look forward to some assistance

Thanks,
Paul

welp... I just answered my own question.. Looks like the design of the metal pipe that's attached to the frame and runs along the front end of the car was changed with an additional "nipple" added to it... This answers all of the questions above!

Thanks,
Paul
