Apparently the lifters are made by INA, German bearing manufacturer. I wonder if anyone has contacted them about restarting production? 200+/lifter is kinda expensive to do all 8...just my .02cents.

Signed. I've got an 84 NA, and man, the number of things I'd love to be able to just replace that are NLA...

We're now at just under 700 signatures. Can we get to 1000?!

I am visiting Germany in December, and plan to deliver the petition in person to Porsche Classic. It sure would be nice to have at least 1000 signatures. This is not just for the 924, but all water-cooled front-engined cars. If you've already signed, please let your fellow enthusiasts know...send a PM, an email, or share to facebook!

Thanks all!

OEM parts for the 924, 944, 968, and 928 models are becoming increasingly difficult to find, with several of them now NLA (no longer available). .

You'd get a lot more sigs if you modified the wording in the petition web site to include the other water cooled models you mention in your post.

Let me know if/when that is done and I'll assist in getting the word out to the other models.

Doing my part. Just bought one in rough shape and fixing it up as we speak.

Parts prices are much better than the 993 parts i am used to buying
