Default WTB - Driver side Fog Light Housing

Hi All,

Porsche 944, n/a 1988

While wanted to change the bubble of my driver fog light, one of the screw broke in the housing...(The part to which the actual fog light is attached too) so since I do not know how to take it off, I was wondering if one you would have the housing only, so that can I exchange mine.

thank you

Should be two bolts that hold it onto the front valence..look at the back...

Hi Tiger, I understand that the housing is screwed to the front valence with 2 x 2 screws, but the one that broke is the one that attached the fog light to the housing, so it is why I would need a new housing.

This is the black housing that the bulb assembly rests into? I had the same problem. I heated the remnanats of the screw with a microflame torch, then punched it and the brass sleeve out of the housing. The brass sleeve is what holds the bolt in. Then I just ran another screw into the housing and nutted it on the back. That held the lens on pretty well. Now if you want to REALLY get fancy, you could thread the nut onto a long bolt, 4mm?, heat it and pull it into the housing with the bolt. you'll have to keep it vertical and square ..
