Yeah, I ended up putting the prybar through the smaller access hole up against the front coupler flange and it slid forward fine. Just waiting on the silly bolt so I can drive it to have it inspected.

Where are you located? I pick up these internal-hex bolts from OSH-Orchard Supply Hardware all the time. They even have 7mm metric bolts which I needed once for BBS wheels.

Thanks for the tip on the Orchard Supply...7 mm and 9 mm bolts esp torx or internal hex are sometimes VERY hard to come by, esp in -10.9...I'll check them out..Thanks

Dear SH: glad to hear that you fixed the clutch ---too did you delete the rubber center part?

Never heard of Orchard Supply, thanks for the tip. It looks like the closest one is about 40 mins away (I'm in SW Houston). The bolt I needed came in yesterday and I promptly installed and went for a long drive. Feels good to be back behind the wheel.

Tiger, I put back in the rubber centered disk. It's a 2006 part from Sachs...8mm thickness (new is 8.1) and the rubber was in great condition. In a year or two I want to pull the engine to mass-replace seals and paint the engine bay (it looks terrible). I'll probably install a new clutch kit then.
