Purple. Sparkles. Unicorns. (Keep the bunny on the roof, of course.) I need to make that happen.
It is the color of royalty, you should do it up. It would look quite good, even with the red bunny roof.

Haha, you mean like the ones in the numberplate that went on wrinklier than cold ***** that I swore I'd fix in the offseason?

Speaking of numberplates: does the ol' trick of poking a small pin-hole in air bubbles still work on car-wide applications, or is that probably not a good idea on a full-car wrap you're doing to protect stuff?

Not necessary with 3m 1080 vinyl because of its air channel technology. If there's a bubble you literally press on it with your thumb and it disappears.

No soap solution. Basically you pick a point to start, and lay down, pull up, lay down again, as you work it down perfect. I've been avoiding using heat but it is useful in certain scenarios. 1) if you stretched it out in spots with your fingers or something, heat will return it back to perfectly smooth and flat. 2) if you need to stretch it out to make a bend or something, you can heat and pull.

I quickly found out that when you stretch a metallic wrap it results in a bit of discoloration since the metallic "flake" density is less where its been stretched. This 3m product is very nice to work with and can be manuevered just enough without heat from my experience.

From your guidance!

I'm always impressed with the work you do on your 944. It's looking great and I'm eager to see the completed wrap!

Been doing some engine work this winter, if I have her running again in the next week or two I'll make more wrap progress before heading back too school but I doubt I'll finish the job until late March. Good test to see how much the stuff fades once the car is done, considering I will have new vinyl on some panels and almost year old stuff on others.
