Default Vacuum valve?

Anyone know what the diaphram (adjustable regulator looking thing) is...? Located just left of the booster on a 944 n/a?
-Specifically can we control vacuum on our fuel regulator with it?

Thanks!

Noah

left from the front of the car or from the driver seat?
left from the driver seat from the booster are the fuel vapor valves, they have nothing to do with fuel pressure.

On all the 944s I've seen, the FPR (and damper) draw vacuum from the throttle body.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to adjust the fuel pressure on an NA car?

Yes sir from the driver's side. "control valve 1" I think it's labelled.

Thank you. I need to increase the pressure (technically I want to enrich the mixture)... because when driving with sustained higher rpms I noticed the WB02 starts reading 14/1. Too lean.

You need to replace your FPR with an adjustable one to do that. As Spencer said, the vacuum canister you are referring to is an emissions control valve for fuel vapor and nothing to do with fuel pressure.

What about adjusting the FQS switch on the dme? That should give you some control. Or what about a rising rate FPR? Im sure there's something on the market that you could make work

Noah,
If you get the Rogue MAF setup and DME tuner you can program the FQS values to whatever you want.
Stock is gives you +/3 or +/-6% fuel (iirc) but you can change those values however high as you need.
