Default Fuchs pitting corrosion inside rim...OK to use?

I am restoring my Fuchs wheels (7X16, 8X16) from a 944 Turbo that were fully chromed by a previous owner.

One wheel had evidence of fix-a-flat reside after removing the tire (bottom photo)

After having all four wheels professionally stripped/chrome removed I can now see the pitting corrosion more clearly that goes around the entire rim (top & middle photos). Some of the "pits" are several mm deep.

Should I be concerned about remounting a tire and using the wheel? Concern is about structural integrity (versus appearance) since this area will be covered by the tire.

I would have no concern. Some pitting is normal in my opinion.
