Question Rear Wiper Question

New to the forum here, recently bought a '86 944. It did not have the rear wiper option, but I'd really like to have one installed. I bought the motor, switch, and the arm, but I have no idea what to do with the wiring. Checked official diagrams and no result. Any help with how to hook this up is greatly appreciated!

The original wiring was part of the cable that went across the top to the center stop light and heater elements. If it's not in there, then you'll have to piggy-back a couple of wires all the way from front to back.

Welcome to the forum. Being that the rear wiper is signal speed it needs only a ground, switched power, and un-switched power for parking the wiper. Both powers going to the "X" buss which is hot in the key on position only. Is a black/yellow wire from the ignition switch. Use 15 amp inline fuse as close as you can to where you are taping off for power. Just check the black/yellow is in fact hot in the key on position.

Thanks everyone! I didn't find any wires so I ended up connecting it to the defroster and shared the same switch, works great.
