Default Anyone near Austin, TX?

March 6-8 Pirelli World Challenge will have the 2015 season opener race at COTA!

Tickets are on sale now: http://circuitoftheamericas.com/pwc

Come support me in my *ahem* Chevy Sonic. But, don't worry, there will be plenty of other Porsche there to root for, too!

Looks like it could be fun. I still haven't made it out to COTA for an actual race, would be nice to see one

Well, a bunch of $100 bills would always help!

Seriously, I have two friends coming down with me to act as crew, so I mostly need moral support. It turns out, I have a reputation to uphold:

http://nasportscar.com/what-to-expec...e-touring-car/

TCB, or B-Spec, is the slowest class. This class is meant for small “econo-box” type of cars but this class often provides some of the best on track action. The 4 way battle last year at Brainerd was epic and the 5 way battle for 2nd or 3rd at Road America put the TC and TCA battles to shame. This class is generally pull of up and coming drivers looking to get a taste of the pro action or gentleman drivers just looking to race. This class will feature a pair of Chevy Sonics driven by Van Svenson (most Bad-*** name on the entry list) and Johan Schwartz. Both cars are entered by different teams but the Chevy Sonic showed speed in 2013 in its debut. The Breathless Performance camp will have drivers Jason Ficher in a Mini Cooper and Chris Holter in a Mazda 2. The Mazda2 that Holter is driving is the 2013 championship winning car and the Breathless crew knows how to prep a racecar. P.J. Groenke switches to a Mini Cooper after campaigning a Honda Fit last year. Also making a splash this year is Black Armor Helmets with drivers James Wilson and Steve Taake in a pair of Mazda2’s. Its hard to tell who in the class is going to stick around for the full season. The entry list will vary wildly throughout the season and drivers run out of money or simply don’t want to travel as far. But either way, look for this class to provide some great on track action.

What a pass! That Sonic has some legs. Ninth to third. First and second are fast!
