Or he could buy a 12 gauge.

Wink

That hood crest is heavy and not aerodynamic! You didn't want it anyway

I actually like the look without the crest! To me it looks cleaner and it's about th car, not the brand label.

The 924 Carrera GTS did it, a small crest on the leading edge of the hood. And a sticker for the licence plate on the badge panel.

Many horsepowers!

The 924 Carrera GTS
Damn, thats a sexy azz car!

Texas or not, my car has been the drive for a couple of weeks... no one screws with it.

I hold the old crazy man reputation around here.

This thread inspired me to get a new crest set for my 1983 944.
I went to install it only to find I have little to no access to the backside of the nose of the car.
I read on another thread I would have to drill out spot welds to lift up the nose piece a little to gain access.

Anyone out there have any advice on this crest replacement on my early 944?

Dear Arominimus? Sorry for the loss.. I know how you feel...looking at the bright side, at least they left the gasket and the little rubber pin mounts..were you able to retrieve the little metal retainers on the inside of the nose panel? All that stuff goes for about 25 bucks on E-Bay. Long long time ago in a land far far away, I had had my E-type Jag painted with many coats of hand rubbed lacquer..two days before the concours, some ******* keyed it...I really had to scramble to patch it up for the event...no points off for paint! so I did good..hope this p-car turns out as well...Sucks all the way around 50 bucks ought to get you an OK crest, BTW...Thanks,Tiger 03447.
