Default Greetings! Introducing my 1st Porsche ever! (944)

Hi 944 owners and enthusiasts!

I just procured my 1st Porsche, a 1985 944 (NA). Not in original condition obviously, but well maintained and comes track prepped. She doesn't qualify for NASA Spec 944 class because the torsion bar has been deleted. She currently is lowered on Koni coilovers. Interior is mostly stripped, the dash/gauges are still intact and functional. She also sports a welded-in 1/2 cage and race seats and wheel. She's well sorted engine/drivetrain and frame wise. Alittle body work to pop that dent out and a repaint is in order.

I hope to read and learn lots more in this forum about the 944. See you guys out at the track and PCA events.

Add a full cage and put a torsion bar suspension and we can get you into sp1 or sp2 if you want to keep the coilover suspension.

Have fun!

I'm still a HPDE 1 driver. It'll be alittle while before I can qualify for a racing license.

I saw that car listed for sale locally and it looked like a good deal! Lots of 944 guys locally. Check out dorkiphus.com forum also for local topics.
