There might be a site to decode the vin but it looks as if you have 2 options,

Use the vin sticker located in the hatch;
http://www.944online.com/cgi-bin/ASI...tioncodes.html

Send the vin to porsche for a "cardex" which will list options
http://www.kindel.com/porsche/options/options.asp

Congrats on a new baby and send pics when it arrives!

Congrats, welcome to the 968 club. The only code I recognize is 718, which means your car was actually built as a 1994 MY car, but wasn't sold, so Porsche re-VINed it as a 1995 MY. It's not really important. I think all the other options are common things like having a catalytic converter, sunroof, etc.

The 968 sub-forum on this site is where the 968 owners hang out most of the time. Go check them out:

Yup, as above..

- Tiptronic
- Cassette-radio Porsche/Becker CR-1 (probably long gone?)
- 8-way electrical seat, left
- Automatic speed control
- Equipped with the next model year VIN (10th character in the VIN shows the car is newer than it actually is)

As cabs go it's a nice looker all in black.

Enjoy it..
