Default Crowdfunding for pro racing

Watch out Pirelli World Challenge, here I come! (With a little bit of support from you!)

For those that have followed along in my 944 Cup racing season, you might know that I came in 2nd place at the Nationals. I've won entry vouchers for the 2015 season of the Pirelli World Challenge, which is a televised, pro series!

Now, I need to make this into the most expensive free gift ever! I have to come up with money to actually do it. Unfortunately, the pro level costs quite a bit more than the amateur level...

I've started a crowdfunding campaign, and I'd love it if everyone can take a moment to review it, let me know your thoughts, pass it along to friends, or even make a contribution, if you're able.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/b...allenge-racing

Here's a little intro I made about it. Of course, if you have any questions, let me know!

A lot of the rewards for the campaign are going to be "swag based" - e.g. tee shirts, decals, coffee mugs, etc. But, at the higher levels, I've tried to include crew access to races, going out for a beer and so forth.

If you have other ideas, let me know! It's been suggested that I do a mid-season or post-season party, too.

Also, if you have any ideas for corporate sponsorship, speak up. In 2014 Pirelli World Challenge reached 5.5 million TV viewers and 1.2 million fans attended in person!

I wish I could contribute cash but I'm spending all my money on my 951 right now. I'll be watching and cheering! Good luck!

It would be cool to see Arnnworx, Rennbay, only944, and Paragon sponsor you. Have you asked Rennlist, or Pelican? Jagermeister willing to sponsor?

For swag, I think a hoodie with the Jager car on it would be awesome, I'm sure you would sell a lot with winter being here.

Van,
Have you decided on a car yet? I sent a link to this page to a World Challenge drive that I've been crew chief for in the past - I sort of "retired" in 2013 but I still talk to him. He has a Civic that's eligible for Honda contingency. I can probably answer a lot of your questions about the series.

Branden emailed me - I'll try to give him a call today. Most likely, I'll be in a Honda Fit in TCB class.

Oh, it was assumed you were racing a Porsche.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to race a Porsche! But that turns the outrageous cost into a tremendous cost! I'd need 3 times the money.
