Default New DIY fuel lines

Hi All

I have replaced my fuel lines at last. At least the flexible hoses that were my biggest concern. I will get to replacing the hard lines as and when, the car is still not on the road due to the length of the project in between the rest of life......

I took a real steer from the excellent advice in the thread which can be found here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...m-project.html

I used AN-6 stainless steel braided hose, teflon lined series 200.
The fittings re standard AN-6 black anodised.
The adaptor attached to the fuel damper is an AN-6 (06JIC) Male to M16x1.5 Female Bosch Regulator Swivel Adapter black anodised.
The hardline adaptors are by Goodridge, these are the blue anodised fittings, part numbers:
G-HL831-0406D - 8mm gardline to AN-6
G-HL831-06D - 10mm gardline to AN-6

Top left shows fittings in the wheel arch (lining removed). One brake line is missing, that is in the process of being replaced.
Bottom left is a close up on the damper fitting.

Comments welcome.
Thanks
James

Prices (approx).
AN-6 stainless steel braided hose, teflon lined series 200 x 2 Metres (0.5 Metre left over) = £18
The fittings are standard AN-6 black anodised. x3 = £15
The adaptor attached to the fuel damper is an AN-6 (06JIC) Male to M16x1.5 Female Bosch Regulator Swivel Adapter black anodised. x 1= £10
The hardline adaptors are by Goodridge, these are the blue anodised fittings, part numbers:
G-HL831-0406D - 8mm gardline to AN-6 x 1 = 8
G-HL831-06D - 10mm gardline to AN-6 x1 = 8

Total was less than £60 or $90 or so.

I suspect you charge more than $9.99 to ship to the UK, and I would not have had all the fun at the same time. The hardlines need doing at the rear, got anything for those?

Aside from that, I also turned the fuel regulator 180 degrees to bring the hoses in at the same angle.

Thanks

Luis - do you offer the hard lines?
Your Teflon brake lines are great and the fuel lines are next on my to do list.
Please let us know. Thanks.

That line to the damper looks like it would chafe on the fuel regulator bracket now that it's reversed. Keep an eye on that!

I used the same spacer as you on my lines but I didn't reverse the regulator, no chance of chafing.

Luis, do you sell the jumper in stainless braid? I bought the stainless braided fuel line kit for the 2 hard lines from you last year, but would like to get a matching jumper line too if possible since I am doing it now. Let me know.

Thanks
