Default How do I open a door with broken latch mechanism?

So neither the outside or inside handle is working on a junkyard car and I want the door panel, any ideas on popping the door open? Would a crow bar on the outside do it or just make a mess? Obviously I want to preserve the interior panel.

Crow bar will just make a mess - you'd be better off with a chop saw.

Likely, the lock button linkage has come apart and so it's just locked... Take the door panel off on your car, and really study which little levers move and how the latch operates. Then, once you know what you're looking, for try using something like a slimjim to get in there and move the lever you need moved.

Pop out the side window, all it takes is 30 seconds with a screw driver and a rag. I had to do this in my garage when I locked both my keys inside...twice.
Edit: Nvm i dont know how to read. Looks like you already have access to the interior.
