Default Gauge cluster electrical issues

Ever since getting my N/A running about 7 weeks ago, Its had electrical issues with the cluster. The volt meter is always pegged at 16+ volts, the tach doesnt work at all, and the temp gauges bounces around. Also have occasional issues with the fuel gauge bouncing. I took the cluster out today and cleaned all the football grounds and contacts, but it made everything worse. No change in the tach or volt meter, and now my temp gauge doesnt work at all, nor does the oil pressure gauge. Also when I use my left blinker, it blinks much faster than the right side, which blinks the normal speed its supposed to. Normally fast blinking is caused by a bulb in the circuit being out, but all 4 of my blinkers work. Not sure why its doing that. Anyone have any ideas since I'm going to have to pull the cluster out again?

I'm wondering if you have one of the connectors in the wrong place. The two on the right side could be installed in error.

Is that possible? I didnt count the number of pins and I assumed they all had unique placement, that it wasnt possible to swap them. This is a late car. Thanks, ill take another look.

Glad to hear that fixed the issues you were having. What grounds did you clean to resolve the issues?
