Question thinking out loud to some extent - Linea Corse Fox on an early 951?

curious if anyone has attempted a set of Linea Corse Fox wheels (made for the SC/3.2 - 17x7.5 ET35 and 17x9 ET16) on an early-offset 951. based on the diagram i threw together below, it would seem to me it's very close to being possible.

the rears would likely work, as the extra 19.8mm on the outer rim would close the width gap typically found on the rear of the '86 951. if anything, a small spacer might be needed to really fill the rear wheel wells. the fronts seem to be an issue only based on the inner clearance. a 7mm spacer would seem to push the wheel just past the position of the existing stock wheels - outer lip. my guess is, the inner might clear at that point, but if it doesn't a 15mm spacer would push it out enough that the inner would clear and that you would likely still not have fender clearance issues - you'd be 9.7mm out from where the (outer) stock wheel sits currently. tire choice would play a factor, i realize.

so, anyone ever try this fitment?? am i missing something obvious that kills this?

Someone on the turbo forums had this setup ,7mm up front is all that he needed.
If i remember right these wheels have an out of round problem , do your research.

That's near perfect. My Mille Miglia 17x7.5/9 twists on my early car came in ET23 front, ET15 rear. You'd probably benefit from some small spacers up front and maybe small spacers in rear depending on taste. See my sig for fitment of et 23 / et 15

Bumping this up. I want to pull the trigger but was hoping to confirm fitment first.

A wheel manufacturer that can't make things round? That should be seen as troubling to any potential buyer.

I run 17x9 et24 on the front of my early offset turbo with no rubbing. I'm a square setup with 17x9 et12 in the rear. These are MM Cup2 et47 with 23mm spacers up front, 35mm spacers in the rear. You'll have a larger gap up front by 30mm with the 7.5 et35 offset. So in theory you could put a 30mm spacer on those 7.5 et 35 and be even with my 9 et24.

They fit. I bought a set and am very happy with them. I needed a 5mm spacer for the front and that's it.
