Default 88 924s fuel tank removal hints

88 924s
Ready to drop the tank reading about removing the back window and half of the rear of the car to get at the vent tubes and filler neck out.
Is there any short cuts to getting this done I am working off of a 944 manual so info may not be correct.

There is a metal plate over the filler neck hoses - you just have to remove the carpet to access it. It's held on with a few philips head screws and a lot of glue!

It's pretty straight forward. No need to remove the hatch or anything.

If the manual is published by Haynes, the info will more likely be incorrect.
