Talking Help wiring bosch universal o2 sensor

Just replaced my catalytic converter and now replacing the o2 sensor on my 84 944. I bought a universal one from amazon with no manual (part no. 15735). I know that I have to cut the original wire harness and crimp the new one in. There's 3 wires one black and two white. I just want to know if the two white wires matter where they go. Or just simply match the old wiring from the new one.

Signal wire is what you need to be concerned about. Use a meter to confirm ground connection one white wire other is positive. http://www.the944.com/oxygen.htm
