Anyone want it? 1983 Hellblau. Body straight for the most part, has a couple small dents and dings. All glass is good, new windshield. Rear hatch has minor separation. No front or rear bumpers. Minor firewall damage, I had an upgraded clutch and the firewall ripped a little. Easily fixed and reinforced with a plate or bracket. Still has carpet, wiring, rear seats in it. Now, the price, I'd like something for it...a big front sway, a decent laptop, $100, whatever... Shoot me an offer. Clear clean title in my name. I have a front cross member/steering rack/brakes/etc from my 85.5 I can throw in for a small fee. I also have rear trailing arms with brakes I can throw in too.

Please someone make something badass out of this car. It has a build date in '82 with a rare (gorgeous) color. Bring a trailer and come pick it up!

Little history on the car's life as I've watched it develope. It was the original test bed for Cale's current V8 monster and we had a lot of fun driving around in such a gorgeous, unique 944. I had a ton of fun watching it come together and lending a hand on some small projects. I know cale put a ton of work into the car before he tore it all apart again. This car is destined for great things. Somebody please build a ridiculous V8 beast out of this shell or some insane 3 liter turbo project. I would hate to see this car crushed or hacked up for scrap metal.

Thanks for sentiment Doug, we've had a lot of good times with the car.

I just want someone to do something with it...rallycross, autox beast, test bed for something new, whatever... It's a blank canvas. Long live Hellblau

That's my red car in a few of the pics!

I can second what Doug said. The car would make a great base for a 944 project, especially a lightweight track car. The paint looks great in person, I've only seen one other hellblau 944 besides this one. I've had a little seat time in it, and it's solid and straight.

one of my Fav early 944 colors, I dont really want an early 944 (would prefer a 924 CGT) but if I saw one in this color for the right price Id snap it up.
