How low did you go with the torsion bars?
I'm in the middle of installing coilovers in the rear, and i need to re index the T-bars. I know about the 40 & 44 splines and adjusting.
But because i didn't measure before hand, i just want to know how many mm did you lower your car?
I'm thinking 20mm?
or do 15mm and if i need lower i'll lower the eccentric bolts
with means rotating the inner torsion bar 3 splines CCW, then rotate the end cap CW 3 splines.

I had KWV3 fitted by someone regarded as the best geometry man in the UK, kept the torsion bars, the car was completely transformed the best thing I have ever done to the car.
To answer the question he used a digital angle measure and set the spring plates to 9 deg bellow horizontal ....hope this helps
This should link to the page showing the set up
