Forgot how much fun a n/a 944 is !
Having owned over 2 dozen P cars in the last 3 decades I have been without a 944/951 for quite a while. I just bought the blue 86 on here that is all set up for track days & came with the trailer (yea, that one). This thing is so much fun my GT3 is going to have stale gas by the time I drive it again. This 44 is so rock solid through the corners I can't wait for a track day in it. I think my lawn mower has more power but that just adds to the fun. My 2004 GT3 is a handful, don't get me wrong it's a blast to drive but this blue turtle is so much fun you can't get the smile off me with a wire brush! As you can see from my join date & post count, I have been around for a long time & don't say much but had to post about the blue turtle!

Pics from seller are on the classifieds, I hope to get a group pic this weekend of my 3 cars (944, GT3 & early 911) and will post them. I softened the suspension and have driven it to work every day this week taking the long way home. My 12 year old son loves this car more than any other one I have owned since he got interested in cars when he was just a little guy. He wants it to be his first car, this weekend I am taking him to the parking lot where I work for his first drive. He has raced Karts and is a motocross rider so I know he will do fine.

That's awesome that you have so much respect and appreciation for the 944, also being a GT3 owner. Its a true testament as to how good these cars actually are! I swear that I put more miles on my 944's than I do any other car I own. They are not fast by any means but I could care less. They are so well balanced and so much fun that you really forget about the speed aspect. Will look forward to current pics when you have time. Maybe a pic of your two Porsches together?

Great thread that obviated one I was going to commence..
Full props from a GT3 bloke makes me proud to own Porsche's Audi orphan.
The mid-corner neutrality is what immediately struck me about this car.
Plus that 4,500+rpm bark, purposeful shifts, low COG and the occasional "Do you drive a Ferrari?"
from the Incognoscenti...

Now I am in a love triangle! I tried to upload other pics to show my 944 but the files were too large.
