Default 951 Fuel pressure gauge reading question

I just installed the 951MAX chips from Lindsey Racing along with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I connected an Arnworx fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail. with the car idling the pressure reading centered around 36 PSI. I adjusted so that the reading was centered around 44 PSI (3 Bar) per the chip requirements. At Idle, the needle rapidly bounced +/- 5 PSI around the center point. When I rev'd the engine to 2000 RPM, the pressure reading settled out some to about +/- 2 PSI around the center point. Should the reading bounce that much or is this indicative of another problem? The car will absolutely haul *** and runs great. thx

If it hauls *** and AFR's are where they need to be, set it and forget it.

Did you remove the vacuum line from the FPR before setting the fuel pressure? This must be done, otherwise you will be running mega rich.

per your suggestion, excellent tip. I was maybe 10 PSI too high when I unplugged the vacuum line.

Silly question I'm sure, but do you just unplug the vacuum line to set the pressure, then plug it back in?
